I am passionate about all things organic, non-toxic and vegan in beauty, personal care, and everyday living. I believe that every time you open your wallet and purchase something you are “voting”. When I purchase something I want to be mindful about the company and ingredients as well as the manufacturing process that I am supporting with my purchase.

My Journey to Creating Holistic living curator

My journey started after I developed allergies and was diagnosed with Thyroid Disease. After being prescribed several medicines and not having all my symptoms be resolved; I knew I needed to get to the root cause of both the allergies and the thyroid disease and not just treat the symptoms. It’s been a long journey and I am still working on getting to the root cause of my diagnosis. But, cleaning up my diet has really helped me with lessening some of the symptoms I was experiencing. One of the last areas that I switched over to buying cleaner was my beauty and personal care products. I am not sure why it took me so long to connect the dots that what we put on our bodies: goes into our bodies. The skin is the biggest organ after all.

I am committed to finding the cleanest products that give amazing results in clean beauty, clean living with no compromises on performance.

Not only are the products that I use and recommend non-toxic; they are cruelty free and vegan. I don’t think you need to break the bank in order to provide yourself with cleaner products; therefore I provide reviews on all price points in the clean beauty world. My focus for the skincare, makeup, and haircare also comes from a perspective of a fifty something woman that realizes at this point in our lives we need and deserve our products to give us a little extra TLC.

A little more about me

I have my degree in Fashion Merchandising and have been a retail buyer for over twenty five years. I have bought several product categories over the years; including beauty and personal care. After my health journey I decided to put my expertise to use in researching products in the world of organic, non-toxic, and cruelty free products.

Like I said earlier: I believe that every time you open your wallet you are voting; and I choose not to vote for products with a toxic burden to me or the planet along with unnecessary cruelty. I choose to vote for all of us to have easy access to organic, clean and cruelty free products that are affordable. And this is where Holistic Living Curator comes in.
